“What’s the weather supposed to be like for the Lighted Boat Parade?”

IMG_20131209_145641_652The weather for the re-scheduled 2013 Lighted Boat Parade looks to be much better than last Saturday when high winds and chilly, rainy weather forced it to be postponed. The current forecast for Saturday is partly cloudy skies with high of 70 degrees (around 60 degrees at parade time) and very little wind. The tree-lighting ceremonies already took place last Friday, as scheduled, so now there’s just the parade which will still start at 6:30. The entrants have had an extra week to prepare, so it should be a great parade. They will be competing for trophies in three areas: Best Spirit, Best Creativity, and Best Lighting.  Make a trip to Morro Bay to see who brings home the bling this year.
